Bart Hoekstra
Bart Hoekstra is currently President of Geometrics, Inc. with 40 years of experience that included time at several consulting organizations prior to joining Geometrics in 2006, including Blackhawk Geosciences and Parsons Corporation. His professional experience spanned a range of objectives of near-surface geophysical exploration. During his career, he has worked on projects related to geotechnical characterization, environmental contamination, resource exploration, groundwater development, as well as detection and characterization of Unexploded Ordnance. His work on geophysical field crews began as a field hand in Northern Canada in the early 80s, and eventually became project lead on long-term projects worldwide. He obtained a Degree in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1984 and a Master of Electrical Engineering at Rice University in 1987. He has served as President of the Engineering and Environmental Geophysical Society (EEGS)
